This piece is three pictures of a music video called Paradise by Coldplay! Coldplay is by far my favorite band and i had to do one of their songs. This is one of the more popular songs by them. I loved painting the elephant with watercolor.
This is a self portrait of myself! It was one of my senior pictures. It was very hard for me to do portraits. Its one of my weaknesses but i did receive a silver key on this piece of artwork!
Crackle effect owl. This picture was fun to do! It was hard to put the crackle and paint it in but it was worth it! I loved the eyes because they are so bright and contrast against the browns. This picture does not do justice to the actual piece of artwork.
Some Practice Exercises!
Full color range flower. I enjoyed painting this piece, the flower was really fun to paint. My strengths were defiantly painting and showing the lighter and darker shades of the flower and blending them together.
Architecture color sceme painting. In this painting i loved using the different complementary colors blue and orange. It was really fun to create darker and lighter shades of blue.
Pumpkin still life. I love fall. I also love pumpkins, so this painting was fun to paint. I love the way the texture on the pumpkin looked. Not mixing in all the colors in the pumpkin leaving it with detailed colors instead of blending everything.
Cattail Landspace using monochromatic Painting style.
My strengths in this painting was the cattails, it shows the shading of the darker on the inside of them and it gradually gets lighter on the outside. The negatives of this painting was the trees, i could have done way better on shading and making them look more realistic.
